The goal for this training is to strengthen school safety policies while building confidence and trust among educators. We will analyze current emergency practices, including active shooter, and discuss how these policies will play out during a true emergency. It will also address prevention measures, mediation after an incident, and ways to talk about concerning events with young children (ages 3 – 8) and families.

This training introduces mindfulness strategies that can be used to support your SEL instruction with young children (ages 2 – 6). The techniques are research based and will address compassion, self-regulation and being present. In-person training includes built in time to set up your classroom space for success! This training is designed to help teachers identify and analyze the causes of challenging behaviors. We will show you 3 tools you can use to track behaviors, with the intention that you’ll be able to identify causes and then create interventions to better support your students.
