The goal for this training is to strengthen school safety policies while building confidence and trust among educators. The course will analyze current emergency preparedness practices, including active shooter, and discuss how these policies will play out during a true emergency. It will also address prevention measures, mediation after an incident, and ways to talk about concerning events with young children (ages 3 – 8) and families.

This in-person training introduces mindfulness strategies that can be used to support your SEL instruction with young children (ages 2 – 6). The techniques are research based and will address compassion, self-regulation and being present. Built in time during the training to set up your classroom space for success!
